If there were any job that can let you travel the world and be involved in the creative arts and earn a lot of money, it is acting and modeling. Any one that is going out for acting jobs might as well try out for modeling jobs as well, and vice-versa, as either one can help open doors into the other profession, and teach valuable skills that will help in the pursuit of acting and modeling.

Acting and modeling are also two of the oldest occupations available, slightly behind baker and blacksmith. Since painting and sculpture were developed as art forms, artists have needed models. Since people have wanted to tell stories through dramatic interpretation, actors have been necessary, thus the assertion that acting and modeling have existed for more than centuries in various cultures around the world.

This brings us to the point of recognizing the arts of acting and modeling as things that are a part of our culture and have been there basically since the beginning of time. If you are trying to get into acting and modeling you are attempting to be a part of ancient art forms. Acting and modeling are not difficult to get into for no reason, but rather because people are subconsciously drawn to them, even if they are not aware of the reasons for their pursuit of these art forms, and this adds to the competitive atmosphere of these careers.
