Welcome to auditionsauditions.net. When you are going to an audition, you need to be prepared and organized. Sometimes actors or actresses, who are inexperienced, spend rehearsals staring blankly at other performers. Do not do this. Arrive early to the audition. Use the time to get yourself in the zone. Prepare yourself mentally and get into character. Go over your prepared pieces. If you have received sides, go over how you are going to execute your performance. Do not leave anything to chance.

Be as prepared as possible. Have many pieces memorized in case you need them. At the very least, have two monologues prepared that reflect your range. This is an audition for a job. Your goal is to land that work. The best way to get hired is to execute a great performance. You alone know what you are capable of doing and in the end must be able to perform. Do not be worried about impressing the director with anything else but with your acting. Be open to taking direction during your acting audition. Listen carefully and do exactly as you are told. Be prepared to be surprised. You may be asked to improvise as a character as well.
